A short post today, since yesterday was pretty chilled. It started, however, with the best breakfast we’ve had in the US so far.
Koko Head is a fairly new cafe with a big following. Luckily, it was a Tuesday so there was no queue. Saying that, it was still pretty busy.
The menu was incredible. Take a look at it here. Go on. I’ll wait.
Isn’t it awesome! So many delicious options. Choosing what to have was TOUGH.
But choose we did (eventually), whilst sipping on fresh juice and iced water.
I couldn’t resist the Cornflake French Toast. Two slices of cripsy, warm, cornflake-encrusted french toast, served with billionaire’s bacon, creamy black pepper maple and frosted flake gelato.
Alex went for something a little more savoury. Japanese-style fried jidori chicken and French-style scrambled eggs served with rice and maple tabasco.
Look at that. So delicious.
As I said, we both agreed it was the best breakfast we’ve had so far in the States.
The rest of the day was spent relaxing on the beach, relaxing in the park or relaxing in the apartment. So pretty relaxed, overall.
Tomorrow’s blog post will be far more exciting.
